Dr Geddes was such a lovely man, always very kind and patient. As a young child I had some terrible insect bites all over my legs. He was surprised by their ferocity and the fact they had two puncture marks. He jokingly said were you bitten by a snake, I replied “I think I would have noticed” as there were several bites up and down my legs. I will always remember referring g to Dean Lane as Dr Geddes Way every time we travelled down it. My sincere condolences.

Ian and Patsy came to Tarrant Gunville to a house 2 doors down from us. Ian loved life and always had a lot to contribute to life in our lane. After Patsy died we continued to enjoy Ian's company, notably watching 6 Nations Rugby, laughing and shouting at the TV whilst trying to stop our supper falling on the floor, 100% immersive involvement. Ian was a kind and caring neighbour with a terrific sense of humour. Our lane was enriched by his and Patsy's presence.
